Nick Kaylor is an associate attorney with Miller O’Brien Jensen. Nick came to the firm in 2019. He proudly hails from a family with strong labor roots. Nick applies this background to passionately guide clients through a variety of labor and employment issues.
Nick represents employees in federal and state labor and employment law matters. Nick counsels employees on a variety of employment law issues including employment discrimination, wage and hour issues, family medical leave, and employee benefits. Nick also has experience with assisting clients in reviewing, negotiating, or litigating issues related to, employment agreements and noncompetition agreements. Nick also represents unions and their members in the processing of grievances, arbitrations, contract negotiations, unfair labor practice charges, union duty of fair representation disputes, and other contract issues.
He maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting individual clients in housing and creditor collections matters.
Nick graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2019. During law school, he was a judicial extern with the Hon. Amy Dawson of Minnesota’s 4th Judicial District, served as an Online Articles Editor of the Minnesota Law Review, and was a Student Director with the James H. Binger Center for New American’s Detainee Rights Clinic. He also volunteered with the Asylum Law Project and the Minnesota Justice Foundation.
Nick lives with his wife Cieria and their two Scottish terriers. When they’re not walking their dogs with a coffee in hand, you can find them in St. Paul at a Minnesota United game.
